Now that it’s really getting cold outside, having a good and warm blanket is the one thing that I often think about. I am cozy with this thick and fuzzy fleece blanket we use. But with the weird and extreme weather we are experiencing of late, I sometimes feel that I need to stock up on more blankets.
The best ones, as recommended by home magazines like Martha Stewart Living and Good Housekeeping, are apparently these blankets:
Hudson Bay is a very familiar blanket brand. The company has been in business since the 1600’s (that’s centuries of weather changes!) So if anyone should know what is the best way to feel cozy and warm during winters, it’s this company.
These blankets are made of 100% wool, which is perfect for cold nights. It’s blended with wool sourced from England, India and New Zealand. A Hudson Bay blanket is recommended for cabin use, and especially those who still prefer to camp outdoors in the winter.
I find blankets from Looolo really chic and stylish. These are also wool blankets created in the most eco-way. Apparently, when the blankets should have already been worn out, they would biodegrade within the year. Thus, it helps reduce waste and carbon footprint. Pretty cool huh?
Just like the Looolo blankets, these are also biodegradable and has not been superwashed. The blankets are made of 100% Australian biodynamic merino. They come in pretty colorful designs, too!
