ELEMENTS - If possible and even on a tight budget, never sleep on a mattress that has been pre-owned or used. It may cause sleeping problems as one can possibly draw the negative energy from the previous owners.

Are round mattresses any different than traditional, regular four sided mattress?

In theory, and as scientist and philosophers may say, a round space has so much more area, allows more freedom to move around. As we know, space is important to comfortable sleep and this is one of the best features a round mattress can offer. A circle or round mattress has an inner area larger than a conventional mattress, that when two people occupy a bed, it feels totally different. There is definitely more leg room to explore.

One other reason why some people prefer a round mattress is mainly aesthetics — it looks different, it takes a certain type of room to invoke such a different taste. Some say that a round mattress is so much more appealing to the eye as it looks like a floating cloud and may provide the illusion of a relaxing place.

Some people go for round mattresses for the sake of aesthetic. A round bed looks different, definitely. It’s a deviation from traditional beds we have. But in terms of comfort, is a round mattress any better than a four sided one? Science would say that a round surface would give you more space. And in the case of the mattress, more space means more freedom in movement, especially when you have a partner to sleep with.

But the bottom line is, whatever the shape of your mattress, how a person feels while sleeping on it is of utmost importance. Can you relax better on a round bed than a traditional mattress? As with choosing your new mattress, it all comes down to preference.

The downside to a round mattress though is the lack of beddings and bed sheets for it. So, owning one might mean you have to have everything customized.
