Therm-a-Rest is announcing the release of Therm-a-Rest NeoAir mattress, which is from their Fast & Light® camping mattress series. Still with patent pending technology, the new air mattress allows for warmth and comfort even while sleeping outdoors.

Light weight and easy to carry, the Therm-a-Rest NeoAir mattress is 14 ounces lighter than a regular air mattress. It will be incorported with a Reflective Barrier, which helps in blocking cold from the outdoor environment. It will also be incorporated with a technology called the Triangular Core Matrix, which is a composition of air cells to provide convectice cooling.

“Nearly forty years of hands-on mattress-building experience has been utilized to create the NeoAir mattress,” said Doug Jacot, Therm-a-Rest Business Manager. “That experience has been key in engineering the unique design and manufacturing process it takes to make this truly innovative air mattress.”

The retails price of this newest product will fall around $119.95 to $169.95 USD.

It will be out in late 2008 or spring of 2009.
