Cleaning a Memory Foam Pillow
0 Comments Published by Lilian May 20th, 2008 in MATTRESS Accessories.
Unlike regular pillows, which you can sometimes run and wash under a machine, a memory foam pillow will be rendered unusable when washed under water. This is because a memory foam’s composition includes cell walls that act like sponges when wet. Once this kind of pillow has been soaked, wet and eventually dried, it will not be of the same quality as before. And you have by then ruined your stuff.
Cleaning a memory pillow only involves some dabbing and spot-cleaning. Never attempt to really soak in liquid on it. For easier maintenance and a longer life-span, do invest in a memory foam pillow protector to avoid staining and ruining your precious memory foam pillow.

Memory foam bed wedge pillows
0 Comments Published by Lilian June 18th, 2007 in MATTRESS Accessories, MATTRESS Shopping, Memory Foam Mattress. This product is absolutely great for watching TV or reading a book while in bed.
The Memory Foam Bed Wedge Pillow (available in different heights; includes a pillow cover) has a layer of visco elastic memory foam that responds to the body’s temperature through the transfer of body heat, resulting in a pillow surface that is shaped like your body. The wedge pillow is specially designed with an incline design to provide proper alignment and keep your affected swollen areas (facial and/or body areas) comfortably elevated in an angle that is optimal for reducing swelling. Following surgery, it is recommended to be perpetually elevated in an approximate 30-45 degree position from the bed because this enables optimal blood circulation to all the vital healing areas and helps reduce the swelling. The bed wedge comes with a cover that has a zipper closure for easy removing and washing. Available in different heights.
It retails for less than $50
