Perfect Comfort™ Over the Mattress Comfort System
0 Comments Published by Lilian August 27th, 2008 in MATTRESS Accessories, MATTRESS Shopping.![]()
This doesn’t look anything like your ordinary mattress toppers because the Perfect Comfort™ Over the Mattress Comfort System has foam “springs” in between it. What that does is supposedly reduce the tendency for tossing and turning on the bed (a sign that one’s level of comfort isn’t fully realized). The topper moves to support the body as the user also moves.

Egg Crate Foam Essential for College Dormers
0 Comments Published by Lilian July 25th, 2008 in MATTRESS Shopping.
One of the more popular choices college dormers pick when it comes to mattress toppers are those designed like egg crates.
It’s basically a topper that requires no flipping. It’s a low maintenance mattress that fits into the lifestyle of a typical student. Its versatility is also a plus factor. You can place this topper on any kind of mattress or, if you have a thicker pad, you can use this by itself.
Egg crate foams are usually designed with an open cell structure which works well on the back and the spine; it provides ample support, in short. The dips also offer breathability and fresh space, as bodies normally turn moist and warm during sleep.

Don’t be too quick to purchase that memory topper you’re eyeing on. Make sure that it comes with a very important feature, one that prevents it from slipping off the bed.
Some mattress topper have little side garter belts to tuck in between the mattress. In the absence of this, you can purchase the very same garter belts in any home center or department store.
On the other hand, I prefer to look for a mattress topper which already has a velour cover. It makes it easier.
Other kinds of covers are usually the culprit as to why the topper is slipping. A quick solution? Remove the covers, place the mattress topper on top of a bare main mattress and cover these altogether with a fitted sheet.

Spring cleaning time…Don’t forget your bed!
1 Comment Published by Lilian March 22nd, 2008 in MATTRESS News, MATTRESS Tips.
Spring is here. In most homes, that means it’s time to bring out the vacuum cleaner and do the regular spring cleaning. A little bit of this helps freshen the house…and in the bedroom? It could improve sleeping conditions.
As you go over your bedroom and do your spring cleaning, don’t forgot to also focus on the mattress and bed frame. Have you checked your bed frame for cracks and balance? Have you tried tossing your mattresses? Airing it out? Is the mattress already sagging? Check for wear and tear, and repair them if needed. Buy new toppers, or if the budget allows, a completely new mattress. Change to a more absorbent cotton sheet, as the weather may tend to become a bit warmer already.
Spring…it signals new beginnings. With the bed as the first and last place you’ll be for everyday of your life…why not start making changes from there?
