With today’s many options for design and style, even a basic headboard may now be dressed up to suit the style of the season or your decorating mood.
The slipcovered headboard is a classic camelback padded design that comes with a slipcover. Like with sofa beds, one can simply change covers to update how the bedroom should look.
I say this is the best option for people who still cannot firmly decide on what the final bed headboard should be.

I prefer a basic white bed myself but I sometimes am in the mood for a little design or color and this linens from CB2 will probably be something I’d choose.
There’s faint embroidery on its 250-thread count fabric, so it isn’t too overpowering and busy. The look is quite modern.
The whole set feature:
• Duvet covers and shams have orange floral embroidery on white background
• Duvet cover reverses to solid white
• 100% cotton
• 250 thread count
• Machine wash
• Imported
Price is at $14.95 - $69.95

What to look for in buying futons
0 Comments Published by Lilian August 24th, 2008 in MATTRESS Shopping. There are only three basic things you really have to check when shopping for a futon bed at the store —
The mattress, whether part of the package or sold separately. It should be on top of the list for things to consider. Even if you have a really beautiful futon bed frame but the mattress isn’t doing it for you, essentially, you still have a useless bed. You can’t scrimp on a mattress, so go with the one that you can get at the maximum limit of your budget.
The frame, or the futon foundation. There are several types of frames and designs in metal or wood. As with all types of bed, it should be durable and sturdy.
The cover, to protect your mattress. You can’t just get any type of cover. It should fit the mattress perfectly. Also, get a cover that can be washed and cleaned.

Daniel Lago’s Air Bed
0 Comments Published by Lilian July 22nd, 2008 in Air Mattress, Interesting Mattress.I know what you’re thinking — you’re wondering what’s supporting this mattress and how long will it last!

With only 4 slabs of what looks like transparent glass and a metallic chassis, the whole idea to this bed brings a feeling of lightness, with energy floating freely. It should feel like being on a magic carpet ride. It’s supposed to also help stimulate sensuality. On the surface of the bed are images inspired from the Kama Sutra.

I can’t imagine it’s support is superior, though. Won’t this bed crack under pressure?
The “Air Bed” is the latest patented design from Daniele Lago.

Paza Design’s Modular Toddler Bed
0 Comments Published by Lilian July 16th, 2008 in MATTRESS Frame, MATTRESS Kids.It looks nothing like a toddler bed, doesn’t it? But it’s supposedly ideal for kids 2.5 to 5 years old, consisting of three separate panels which may be adjusted as the child grows. Until finally, the child has his or her own twin bed.
