New Delhi, Dec 25 - Lemon, aloe vera and ginseng too — newlyweds can now get cosy in varying fragrances all night long with aromatic bed linen.

In an attempt to cash in on the country’s burgeoning wedding market, city-based brand Maishaa’s Collection is offering bed sheets, pillows and duvets in the three distinct fragrances.

The material used is Egyptian cotton. The delicate scents are inbuilt in the fabric and last for 20 washes.

‘The line titled Fragrance Collection has been created keeping in mind fashion conscious brides and grooms to be,’ Amandeep Singh, director of A.K Retail Inc. that owns the label, told IANS.

‘Newlywed fashion freaks who want to carry their best with them are our target customers,’ he said.

First, you need to figure out which size bed needs new sheets. You can buy twin, full (or double), queen, king and California king sized bed sheets. Usually, it is sufficient to know the size of your bed, but some people actually measure the length and width of their bed to ensure they purchase bed sheets that fit correctly.

The bottom sheet is called the fitted sheet. You can buy three kinds of fitted bed sheets. One kind has an elastic edge all the way around for easy fitting over the sides and corners of the mattress. These are the most expensive types of fitted sheets. A second type has elastic along the sides, and the third has elastic only at the corners. The type with elastic at the corners is least expensive, but often the most difficult to fit over a mattress.

Some people go for round mattresses for the sake of aesthetic. A round bed looks different, definitely. It’s a deviation from traditional beds we have.
