Once a company who is a known OEM supplier to bedding manufacturers, South Bay International has decided to join mattress retailing by offering an exclusive line of mattresses made with memory foam. The new produce is debuting at the Las Vegas Market this week.

Says Peter Tarquino, its president and CEO

“We have become advocates for ensuring the integrity of memory foam products. We feel that many visco-elastic foam products are being adulterated and degraded due to the fact that some foam companies use fillers that adversely affect the unique characteristics of the memory foam, and therefore produce an inferior product.”

The company’s main operation is in China and it is said to produce 2,000 mattress daily.

The new product will be called the Sleep Science collection and a separate memory foam mattress line for children called ViscoKids, will also be out in the market.
