What to do with old bed sheets?
Unlike mattresses which mostly advisable to recycle and must be disposed of properly, you can still make use of old bed sheets when they are no longer useful for covering up the bed. Here are some things you can do with them:
1. Use old bedsheets as a drop cloth when you’re doing projects that require you to get down and dirty
2. You can donate them for charity. Make sure they are extra, extra clean though before you do it.
3. It can be cut up to be made into a rug or as a pillow stuffing.
4. Turn them into tote bags, aprons, table cloth or chair slip covers.
5. Some people use bed sheets as curtains….hmmmm.
