A sheet set has the following: flat sheet, fitted sheet and a pair of pillow cases. If you’re buying a twin set, you will only find one pillow case. A standard sheet fits a 12″ deep mattress. If you want a deeper fit, opt for the 15″ or 18″.

Before buying your sheets:
Know your bed’s measurement.
Have an idea about what thread count is.
Know what fabric you want (flannel, cotton, silk).
Picture what your room would look like with your ideal bed set.

When buying sheets:
Get the exact measurements
Check for care instructions.
Inspect quality.
