Did you know that a queen size mattress come in three different sizes? The most popular mattress size, the queen, has actually three different variations — one that’s wider and one that’s longer.

A standard queen size mattress is 60 x 80 inches. The wider type is 66 x 80 inches and the longer sized is 60 x 84 inches.

So, if you’re out shopping for sheets and bedding, make sure to not just pick the ones that are marked QUEEN. You’ve got to get the right size for your queen size mattress, as the proper sheets and bed sets also contribute to a fuller and better sleep experience.
