Sometimes, a simple mattress bed frame base can be a whole lot more contemporary looking, such as this Morna2 bed from Molteni:

Double beds with headboard and base in mutenye, grey oak or wengé. The lower fascia of the bed and the drawers are lacquered in the colours pearl or black. The beds are completed with headboard quilts in fabric or leather.
