The SAT Bed Mattress
Check out this SAT Bed mattress, which seems to be a hybrid of memory foam and air mattress.
It looks like Christopher Reeves has used it. (Our best regards go to Superman… ;| )
Christopher Reeve’s (1952 – 2004) medical team considered numerous surfaces to sleep on and had chosen the SAT, Self Adjusting Mattress based on correct support, pressure relief, efficient blood circulation along with comfort. On October 10th, 2004, we lost Christopher Reeve but his foundation tirelessly continues to find a cure for paralysis.

Didn’t Christopher Reeve pass way due to infection from a Pressure Ulcer (Bed Sore)? Not a very glowing testimony of this mattress if the cause of death by one of your users was aided by your product…

My wife and I have used one for about 5 years now. We are looking for a king size, instead of the queen we currently have. WE LOVE the bed. My wife has degenerative disc disease and hasn’t had problems with her back since sleeping on the mattress…really.
I don’t know about C.Reeves, but I do know that we want another. and our friends that also have one feel the same way we do…

I DO NOT RECOMMEND AN SAT BED AT ALL!!! It was fine the first 90 days and for a few months after and then we started having problems with it. Every couple of months they have to replace something because something is wrong. Customer service was great at first and now I’m lucky if I am able to contact them. The don’t respond to e-mails anymore and you have to keep calling them to receive any kind of service. I’m very sorry I purchased this bed and would not recomment it to anyone. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear they’ve made false claims about their product.

We have had our bed since March 2007 and it is the best mattress we have ever had. We went back to our regular King a couple of months ago and went back to the SAT bed after months of backaches. We never had any problems with the company and they were courteous in all transactions.
