If you’re finding it harder to really get an idea of mattress sizes, here’s an actual photo which tells you exactly how big or wide a certain mattress size is.  For most people, it’s a choice between the Double (Queen) and King Size. The Cal-King size is for those who really would like a lot of extra space on their mattress.

These are for North American standard sizes, European mattresses are slightly different.
