It’s hard to imagine that this indescribable furniture is really a place to rest, a bed in other words. It does seem a design concept straight out of a futuristic movie. Quite certain that this isn’t a movie prop, the bed is in fact the creation of Zaha Hadid and Patrik Schumacher and may be viewed at the 11th Venice Architecture Biennale between now until November.

This is called the Lotus, a resting, sitting, storage and browsing area all rolled into one. It can be a bed, chair, table, any kind of furniture you need it to be.
