Don’t mistake this for a landing pad for helicopters because as plain looking as it it, this strip of orange offers two things — as a carpet and as a mattress and anything else that’s meant to go into a teenager’s bedroom.

In the designers’ own words:

In its original state, “wrap” is a cross-shaped carpet/mattress measuring 240 x 240 cm. Its core consists of a 5 cm layer of high resilience foam material, covered by a two-colour woollen fabric of highly durable and machine washable quality.

Each of “wrap’s” carpet-arms may be quickly rolled up and easily fixed in this state by robust clips. Thus “wrap” reforms itself again and again. With its owner’s changeable moods it changes its “identity” from carpet to lounger, seat, couch or cosy nest.

Whether for musing or chilling with friends, for reading or studying, for listening to music or smooching: “wrap” is suitable for many important activities of teenage leisure time. Just wrap it and relax!
