The Guest Room
Making your guest feel comfortable in your house tells something about how a good host you are. But you need not stress over taking care of them. Not every preparation has to be extravagant. Catalogs has this following advices for preparing and decorating your guest bedroom, and I will take the one that pertains to mattresses in particular:
1. Buy the Best Bed Your Money Can Buy
Don’t give your guest the oldest, most saggy mattress you have. If you can’t afford a new bed, think about getting a quality air mattress. They’re quite comfortable and can be placed on top of a box spring, over a sofa bed mattress, or on the floor.
True, it doesn’t necessarily have to be a bed fit for a queen. Your guest may very well stay at a hotel if that’s what they want. But they choose to stay with you, make it worth their while; make it a visit they will remember. And when they leave, you can just store the mattress in cabinets or use it yourself — take your pick.
