The Skull Sleeping Chamber

It’s not just a “sleeping chamber”. It’s one shaped like a skull and is made of fiberglass that allows you to be isolated from the rest of the while as long as you are napping.

Designed by Joep van Lieshout of the Netherlands, this Sensory Deprivation Skull is for helping one relax to the maximum capacity. The designer has a thing for skulls, and believes that:

“The heavenly power is the big unknown, the death of the hereafter, the skull of physical shell of the mind. The earthly power is a economical power, money plays an important role on our contemporary society. Gradually the faith loses all importance and is replaced by an alternative ‘self experience’, through traveling, sporting and wellness centers.
