I was beginning to wonder when this is going to happen knowing that Tempur Pedic has patented their memory foam mattress design. The company has filed a lawsuit against many names in the industry including leading bed brands like Sealy, Simmons and Serta.

LEXINGTON, Ky. — Memory foam leader Tempur-Pedic has sued more than a dozen other bedding producers for allegedly infringing on a patent protecting the design and construction of Tempur-Pedic’s mattresses.
