Tempur-Pedic International Inc., which makes and distributes mattresses and pillows, said a Georgia district court dismissed a purported antitrust class-action lawsuit, ruling that arguments cannot be refiled on the claim.

The complaint, filed on Jan. 5, alleged the company violated federal antitrust law due to some of its mattress prices, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Nov. 1.

“We are quite pleased that the court agreed completely with our view that the plaintiff’s allegations were without merit, and dismissed this case in its entirety,” Vice President and Corporate Counsel Anita Nesser said in a statement.
