Many people prefer a bigger bed or mattress and in the US, the biggest one you can get, other than having one custom-built for you, is a California king mattress. However, some homes still traditionally own a queen size mattress. A queen size mattress is big enough for someone to have a personal bed space, yet not too big enough that you almost feel like sleeping far apart against your partner. When do you think it’s time to switch?

The differences in length between a queen size mattress and a king size mattress is about 80 inches. It’s actually not much of a difference, that is why sometimes it confuses people.

But looking at the whole bedroom, a king size mattress will definitely look better on a very large room, while a queen size mattress go with most couple bedrooms regardless of its size.
