Have you ever considered renting a mattress? At the back of my mind, I’m thinking “bed bugs, bed bugs, bed bugs”…among other things. Common sense and a some health agencies have always said that using someone else’s mattress is unsanitary and unsafe.

But then, if you think about it, people check in and out of hotels and motels all the time. So, that’s almost like renting a mattress. These establishments usually have some sanitation procedures to follow.  Whereas with renting mattresses, which you have to bring home, and use for visitors or visitors with kids — who knows what has been done on top of those mattress, right?

The Simmons Center offers this type of service, by the way. Would you be interested to try it. Will you be comfortable sleeping on a safe mattress?
