Sealy announced Thursday night that it is planning to increase the prices for wholesale purchase of mattress. This is due to fact that flame-resistant materials are increasing in cost, and delivery expenses have also been skyrocketing.

“Every business in our industry has been affected by factors like higher fuel costs and material costs, and significant investments to meet the new flame resistant regulation for mattresses,” Larry Rogers, president of Sealy North America, said in a statement.
