  • Borax or baking soda helps remove the odor on the mattress. Sprinkle some and leave this overnight. The next day, vacuum the mattress. You will notice a big difference after. Not only is the odor gone, but the mattress will feel fresh.
  • Turn your mattress every other month to keep one side from getting worn out.
  • Children love jumping on the mattresses but this could potentially damage your bed. So, when possible, avoid allowing them to do this.
  • The tag is important, but not too important that you would go to jail if you remove it. It contains basic information that you may need in case you claim warranty. So it’s better not to remove it.
  • Use mattress pads or toppers, especially if you have kids at home. They keep your other mattress free from stains and on top quality.
  • When you need to clean your mattress, choose the cleaning agents you use carefully as this may be harmful to the fabric or materials on your mattress. The best method for cleaning? Vacuum.
