Mattresses come in different models, with varying degrees of firmness and softness. For some people, shopping for the the right mattress is like shopping for the right dress — it has to complement the contours of your body. You need to try several types in order to get one that feels right for you.
The most common and traditional mattresses are the interspring types. These mattresses have spring coils in between the padding.
Hypoallergenic mattresses, called memory foams, are made with high density polyurethane and adapts to the body to properly support it.
Air mattresses make use of air chambers to support the weight and body. Some types even come with adjustable settings, to fit your preference in terms of firmness.
Water mattresses, which are also available in different types, helps reduce the pressure points in the body. With the innovations today, most water beds do not make you feel queasy or sea sick, as if you are in the ocean.
