Mattress Recall: Slumberworld Mattress

The CPSC has issued a recall of the Slumberworld mattresses with models such as the New Edition, the Limited Edition and the Limited Edition Deluxe mattress. These mattresses were manufactured and sold between the months of January 2011 to March 2012. The recall was issued as it was found that these mattresses failed to meet the federal open flame standards for mattresses and thus, it become a fire hazard to its owners and buyers.

There have been no reported injuries or casualties but consumers are advised to return the mattress, if you have bought a Slumberworld during those dates. The following are the particular models, which can be checked in the tag attached to the mattress:

a) 829 First Edition
Twin and full

b) 1213 Limited Edition
Twin, full, queen, king and California king

c) 1214 Limited Edition Deluxe or New Edition
Twin, full, queen, king and California king
