Ms. Hornig, who is born in Austria and has had work in Milan, calls this bed the Camp Daybed and it even comes up with a number of other bedroom furniture that completes the look and feel of a teenagers bedroom. Her work and creations are mostly modernistic and very trendy. You can check her portfolio here.

This Camp Daybed is ideal for a college dormitory setting, where the bedroom space is small and tight, and where young kids have less sleep issues. The bed can be zipped in between, to reveal a cozy sleeping area, with the top part as the blanket, much like how actual sleeping bags work. When not in use, the bed can be folded up as a seater. The foam, it looks like it is thick enough to really offer support. But it’s the bed’s frame that has us wondering just how really comfortable this is to sleep on.
