Mattress Clinic Opens, June 5
The Royal mattress is going to host a sleep clinic beginning June 5, 7PM at the Burlington factory in California -5280 South Service Rd. The clinic should last about two hours and the session will have a Dr. Howard Awad as speaker. He will be covering different types of sleep issues.
The topic for the first sleep clinic will be snoring.
Awad will be on hand to answer any medical questions about sleep and sleeping disorders. He has been involved in the assessment and management of more than 20,000 patients since he opened the Oakville Sleep Medicine Centre in 1994.
Aside from snoring and sleep apnea, his focus also includes upper airway resistance syndrome and sleep disorders in children and teens.
Although a comfortable mattress is considered a key ingredient to a good night’s sleep, according to Royal Mattress owner and president Phil Kriszenfeld, sometimes having a good mattress isn’t enough.
“We believe these clinics will help people find out what they may or may not be doing, or what they need to do, in order to get a good night’s sleep.
