This is truly one of a kind. So unique, that it fetches a price of $1.5Million. Whoa, I know. That’s one costly bed…err… mattress…err..bed. Is it really a bed or just a mattress?

Dutch architect Janjaap Ruijssenaars developed this floating bed for six years using magnetics and technology. Achored with tethers, it can actually support up to 900kg of weight.

A smaller version of this go for about $146,000 but it’s actually too small and may only accommodate pets.

Would you be comfortable sleeping in this $1.5M mattress?
