Tonight is Thanksgiving and with little time left to prepare and make your home much more inviting, here are some last minute tips to sprucing up your home when friends and families are sure to drop by and celebrate with you.

I’m pretty sure there is a mad rush at the mall today so it could be too late for buying new mattresses or bedroom furniture. But you still have a few more preparations to do to making your guest feel so much more at home:

- Launder your sheets and beddings, so that your guest will have a fresh bed to sleep on tonight. so you all have fresh sheets to go to sleep in tonight
- Do final vacuuming and dusting in their assigned bedrooms. Don’t forget to vacuum the mattress!
- Put fresh flowers and candles in their bedrooms.
- Replace broken knick-knacks, remove any broken furniture.
- Water the plants in their bedrooms (if any).
- Polish door knobs and cabinet or drawer knobs
- Spray the room with a freshener.
- Have a Kleenex box accessible by their bedside, especially if it gets cold at night and your guest gets the sniffles.
