Jamison Bedding Goes For Green Cleaning
Last April 22, Jamison Bedding initialized a green cleaning effort by setting up a recycling program within the company.
Says the company president, Frank Gorrell:
"This is something we have wanted to do for a long time. We already recycle much of our manufacturing materials; we thought it was important to practice this not only in the plants, but in the offices as well. Climate change is such an important issue facing us right now, and we want to be part of the solution."
The company also vows to increase their green cleaning efforts by delivering more green sleep products to its consumers and a possible mattress recycling program, too.
"We realize that mattress recycling has become a significant concern in our industry. We want to start thinking of ways we can help resolve this problem, and decrease the amount of mattress taking up space in our landfills."
