Cows sleep on mattresses too!

Wilson Agriculture, a cattle industry in the Coleraine in North Ireland, believes that cows produce better milk when they are happy and contented. And what keeps them feeling all that? Why stable comfort mattresses of course! It keeps cows comfortable against the cold concrete they used to sleep on.

The director of the company, Evelyn Wilson, believes that “If you lie in a comfortable bed all night you’ll be in good form all day. It’s the same for cows.”

The mattress cost £45 each.
