This is a fresh video upload on Youtube where the user writes: Idiot driving over the Ben Franlklin Bridge from Philly, to NJ (4/9/08), with a mattress barely tied to the roof of his vehicle.

He does have a point. A lot of accidents and even deaths happen because of how mattresses are carelessly transported, as this can slip off the vehicle, harming the owner or someone else.

Case in point, from the Echo News.

A WOMAN was struck and killed by a lorry as she tried to retrieve a mattress which had fallen out of her car, an inquest was told.

Laveen Stanley, 53, died on the London-bound carriageway slip- road of the A13, between the Lakeside turn-off and junction 30 of the M25.
