Candlewood Suites improves rooms with better mattresses and beddings
Are you traveling anytime soon? Then you might want to consider accommodations at the Candlewood Suites, located in over 100 areas across the US. The company just recently upgraded their hotel rooms to provide a more indulgent sleeping environment for their guests.
The upgrade cost them 11,000 new mattress and bedding sets in all of their hotels. Additionally, they also did the following improvements:
- The bedskirts (a.k.a. dustruffles) wraps around the box spring instead of lying flat across it. Housekeeping staff no longer has to lift the mattress to change or adjust the bedskirt.
- Bedskirts are also wrinkle-free - so they don’t have to be ironed.
- Duvet covers open on two sides instead of the traditional one side for easy removal and insertion of the duvet insert/comforter.
- Instead of buttons, the duvets use snaps (easier on the fingers).

After spending the night at the Candlewood Suites in Syracuse, New York…..room # 4…..I knew I wanted a mattress just like the one in that room. All I could find on the mattress and/or room literature was that it was a Sealy mattress. HOW CAN I FIND OUT WHICH OF SEALY’S MATTRESSES THAT IS? I asked at the hotel office….of course they were clueless. I have looked at Sealy mattresses here, but there are SO many that I simply need to know more specific information. I have had two back surgeries in the pqst year and that mattress was the first good night’s sleep I’ve had. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
