The Australian Competition and Consumer Commissioner issues a reminder to consumers who have purchased recalled bunk beds made by Hercules Iron Pty Ltd, acting on reports that these may collapse and injure children for life.  The bunk bed models in question are the Asteroid and Comet bunk beds.

Defect Details: Top mattress and slat supports may be dislodged, together with possible snagging and entrapment hazards. In addition, the bunk does not meet certain requirements of the consumer products safety requirements AS/NZS 4220 1994
