This sounds quite an odd story but it’s nevertheless so very true…

Because he considers his backside and bottom’s ability to distinguish a mattress’ quality precisely, a bed bouncer for Silentnight, a very popular bedding store in the UK, has insured this for £1 Million. And he has the support of the store manager on this.

“It may sound silly but my bottom is not like the normal bottom. I have increased sensitivity around the buttock area and can feel the difference in the materials used in beds. I am very proud to be the owner of a £1million backside.

“I want to make it clear that my bottom’s super-powers are quite natural. I have no need of a special care regime.”

As a bed bouncer, his job is to test mattress for softness and durability. His reports help the store manager decide which mattress they would put up on sale next.
