Hotel manager Andrea Warner from London broke a Guinness World Record when she attempted and succeeded to make a king size bed in just under 74 seconds. The feat was done during the opening of Travelodge’s 60th hotel in Northhamptonshire, in front of about 200 witnesses, including the Deputy Mayor of London for Business & Enterprise.
Warner has made bed-making perfect after cleaning up and doing over 120,000 beds in her career. She has always been known as the fastest bed maker in the company and has worked with the company since 2001. She beats the record held by a rival chain, the Premier Inn, which was put on record two years ago and whose time is at 95 seconds. She now officially holds the World Record of ‘Fastest Bed Making By An Individual’.
According to the CEO of Travelodge: “Andrea is one of our top hotel managers, and I am so proud of her achievement. I cannot think of any better way of celebrating the opening of our 60th hotel in the capital by Travelodge setting a brand new World Record. Andrea did a remarkable job of dressing our Dreamer bed in 74 seconds.”
