When you purchase your air mattress, it usually comes with a generic manual pump. But this don’t last longer and could break easily. It’s practical thinking to buy a separate air pump, a heavy duty one, if that is possible.

Would that be a careless expense? If you have kids in the house or do a lot of outdoor activities, the air mattress pump would come very, very handy. You can inflate the kids’ pool (including their inflatable toys) and most every thing that needs inflating (including party balloons!).

Electrical vs Manual

• Electrical pumps make the task of inflating the air mattress less daunting. It’s fast and you don’t have to sweat or hurt your muscles.
• Manual pumps are easy to carry around and may be best for camping trips, where there are no electricity in the vicinity.
