The Primo is a patient responsive, air filled mattress replacement system that is supplied with an inflatable seat cushion. It is constructed in a stretch fabric that encloses the air cells. These are designed to contour to the profile of the patient’s body whilst preventing the ingress of any source of contamination. It has a silent running air supply unit which also acts as the source of inflation for the seat cushion. —- Nottingham University Hospital
