I’ve been seeing more and more of floating bed designs lately, is this the new trend in bedding furniture? Beds that seem to defy physics or gravity?

Designer Andrea Lucatello (Italy) uses the finest materials for this bed, mostly made of fine leather. It aims to bring in a extra-ordinarily contemporary feel to any bedroom. You can select from four color types (black, brown, ivory and cream) in any of the three sizes (Queen, European King and Double).

The bed retails for almost $5,500, mattress not included (but you can get your mattress here and here!)
