The different kinds of bed frames
- Canopy - dramatic and fits right into a traditionally themed bedroom.
- Poster Bed -mostly for people who are also keen on bedroom elegance. Poster beds are majestic, with heavy wood finish and frames
- Platform bed - a bed more popular for its utility than anything else. Simple yet very modernistic.
- Sleigh Bed - most appropriate for a country-themed bedroom but in some cases, with metal finish or open slatted foot boards, a sleigh bed may also work in a modern bedroom
- Slat Bed - often seen in most transitional bedroom or country homes.
- Bunk Bed - ideally, the best solution for rooms with smaller spaces and more than one occupant, such as in an apartment
- Daybed - it’s a sofa turned into a bed; usually as an extra sleeping area
