Here’s another one of those really tall beds. But unlike the post before this, this bed is tall not because of its base or frame but because of the mattress.

The mattress alone is 16″ tall but since it’s a boxspring, and the boxspring alone has a height of 8.5″, in total, the bed is 24.5″ thick!
