SPCA Seeking Pet Beds
In this season of giving, there may be kind souls out there who would like to extend their generosity to animals.
The SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) in Fayette County is seeking help from residents and do-gooders to provide better pet beds at the shelter.
The pets there are currently sleeping on makeshift beds. The shelter still hasn’t bounced back from a fire that damaged the facilities in 2004.
Says Kim Essic, SPCA member, “We have no dog beds. We do have wooden pallet-type beds that we add blankets and such to, so the dogs are up off the concrete.”
The SPCA is specifically asking for Kuranda-brand dog beds because this suits their need best.
