This memory foam made orthopedic bed is for older dogs with body condition such as the following:

  • Hip or elbow dysplasia
  • Canine arthritis
  • Joint problems

Apparently, memory foam works just as well on dogs as it does on humans.

In a traditional dog bed with traditional materials, the dog’s hips, elbows, shoulders are pushing down on the dog bed, and the dog bed is shoving back equally as hard — creating a pressure point that cuts off circulation preventing blood flow through the joint. It is just like oil in a car, the blood flowing through the joint as your Buddy sleeps or lays upon their dog bed, lubricates the joint. Memory foam eliminates all painful pressure points allows the blood to continuously lubricate the joint. You will see as your dog uses their orthopedic dog bed, they will not be as stiff and sore in the mornings after sleeping. These pressure points build up, and that is why people, and our pets, toss and turn to get away from the pressure build up. But even, with turning over, the pressure points soon build up again.
