Crufts is a big event for dog lovers in England and hotel chain Travelodge is prepared to pamper pooches and their owners, when they choose to stay at their hotels by giving them ample sleeping accommodations.

Leigh McCarron, the Travelodge sleep director said: “Crufts is a big occasion in the dog calendar and we want to acknowledge the importance of this event.”

“Therefore we have extended our range of pooch beds to ensure our two- and four-legged customers get their beauty sleep in order to look and feel their best for the big occasion.”

In recent years the event, which is the world’s largest dog show, has been accused of becoming too glamourous with many Hollywood-style pets on show who are ‘all teeth and hair’.

A relaxation of the quarantine laws in 2001 means that many more American competitors now travel to the event.
