For a temporary mattress fix, spare $10 for yourself and purchase a mattress panel which transforms old and sagging mattress and rejuvenating it for longer use. The panel boards are 59″ long and 24″ wide; easily foldable when not in use.

But this is, as indicated, just a temporary solution to your mattress woes.  Eventually, you would really have to buy yourself a new one if the backaches and the sleep problems don’t alleviate.
