French Napoleon Bed Frame With Mother of Pearls

by Lilian on Saturday, February 9th, 2008

I couldn’t help but gasp when I saw this bed frame, for it is simply just exquisite. Its a type of bed aristocratic people sleep on in the 1880’s, during Napoleon III’s era in France. It’s covered in lacquered black metal, with mother-of-pearl inlay and iron rails.  A 73″ long and 45″ deep mattress should fit into this finely, with box springs.
