Ikea’s Skydda mattress protector is made up of 55% lyocell and 45% cotton, which makes the pad ultra breathable and absorbent.

Its filling is of 50% polyester and 50% modal, which also helps a lot with absorption.

The protector is effective in keeping away stains and dirt from seeping through the actual mattress . Its elastic corners keep it in place, but then it’s also easier to remove and clean when needed.
