Snoogle® Maternity Total Body Pillow
0 Comments Published by Lilian August 26th, 2008 in MATTRESS Accessories, MATTRESS FUN, MATTRESS Shopping.
Although this pillow is most ideal for pregnant and lactating mothers, I say anyone may still have very good use for it.
How many pillows do you have on the bed with you? An average of two to three right? One for the head rest, one to cuddle, and one to support the back. Too many pillows on the bad can get a bit crowded. Rather than helping you fall asleep fast, it does the opposite.
The Snoggle pillow eliminates the need for plenty of stuff on the bed.
The Snoogle is uniquely designed to follow the natural contour and shape of your body from head to toe. It provides the back and tummy support needed during pregnancy, and is perfect for sleeping and relaxing.

Different types of futon covers for active families

The best type of futon cover is actually dependent on what your lifestyle needs are. For families with kids and pets, they need a different type which can be broken down into three types:
- Faux Suedes (which sometimes has microfibers) - this is the most preferred choice by parents. Faux suede is so easy to clean, so if a child or a dog messes it up with dirt, blotching it would be quick. Faux suedes are also washable and they dry faster. With microfiber, it’s triple times more durable.
- Denim covers - denim material is also durable. It’s also casual looking so it’s great for play rooms.
- Vinyl - sometimes passes of as looking like leather, if you want something fancy. As with faux suedes, it’s easily cleaned and maintained by wiping off with a clean rug or paper towel.

Over time, futon designs have changed. Many of these have become more stylish and contemporary while still affordable. There are even futons today that are made using better insulated cushions that help the sleeper warm during cold nights.
A lot of people prefer futons because it feels good for the back. Futons beds are made firmer because of the slats. Futon mattresses are also a couple more inches thicker than normal.
The practical futon may also be a couch, which eliminates the need to have other furniture in the house. Many futons are also very easy to maintain which is why it’s so ideal for people living in fast paced environments.
No-nonsense design, affordable, comfortable and practical — these are the basic strengths of a futon mattress.

What to look for in buying futons
0 Comments Published by Lilian August 24th, 2008 in MATTRESS Shopping. There are only three basic things you really have to check when shopping for a futon bed at the store —
The mattress, whether part of the package or sold separately. It should be on top of the list for things to consider. Even if you have a really beautiful futon bed frame but the mattress isn’t doing it for you, essentially, you still have a useless bed. You can’t scrimp on a mattress, so go with the one that you can get at the maximum limit of your budget.
The frame, or the futon foundation. There are several types of frames and designs in metal or wood. As with all types of bed, it should be durable and sturdy.
The cover, to protect your mattress. You can’t just get any type of cover. It should fit the mattress perfectly. Also, get a cover that can be washed and cleaned.

It’s called the fu-chest. Unlike most futons that changes into a couch, the fu-chest goes from this…

Although, I don’t think this chest stores anything pretty much other than the mattress, right? Still for homes with small spaces this is definitely an adorable furniture.
