New Mattress Outlet opens

New Mattress Outlet opens

The Mattress Outlet Inc., of Spokane, has opened its fourth store here in a building on north Division Street formerly occupied by Sylvan Furniture Co.

The store opened last weekend in the 22,000-square-foot leased structure, at 1233 N. Division, says owner Ken Mullinax. Sylvan Furniture, which had occupied the building since 2001, lost its lease there earlier this year and couldn’t be reached for comment about its plans.

Natural Organic Crib Mattress

Natural Organic Crib Mattress

WHY DOES MY BABY NEED A NATURAL ORGANIC CRIB MATTRESS? Nearly all crib mattresses today use vinyl/PVC as the mattress cover and polyurethane foam as the filling material. These materials have been shown to release or “leach out” potentially harmful chemicals such as phthalates and PBDEs (read the Five Problems With Crib Mattresses). Organic crib mattresses do not contain these chemicals. They offer a healthy and safer alternative to conventional crib mattress offerings.

Organic Barrier Cloth Cover

Organic Barrier Cloth Cover

This protective covering looks very useful.

Protects mattresses from spills and other moisture. Un-painted brass zipper allows removal for washing. Naturally hypo-allergenic, machine washable.

Orthomate mattress systems

Orthomate mattress systems

Orthomate memory foam mattresses have the ability to compress, but then slowly return to their original shape. Therefore the mattress does not place nearly the same resistance on the joints of the body as spring, air or other materials that more quickly bounce back. Orthomate foam mattresses don’t bounce, so it is easier to roll over without disturbing your spouse. Orthomate pressure-reducing mattresses allow your body to be properly contoured in complete comfort, without losing the support you need.

Dust Mite Covers

Dust Mite Covers

Your mattress needs dust mite covers in order to prevent dust mite fragments from taking over your bed. They are sometimes the cause of itchines, watery eyes, stuffy nose, sneezing, cough, allergies and headache.

Talalay Mattress vs Dunlop Mattress

Talalay Mattress vs Dunlop Mattress

Organic mattresses are very popular these days and this has resulted to the increase in popularity between two kinds– Talalay & Dunlop.

Many people confuse these two, thinking quality and type have something to do with the difference. But Talalay & Dunlop are actually the methods in which the materials, specifically latex materials, are processed and manufactured. The name branding has very little to do with the quality of the end product.

"All Wool" Mattresses

"All Wool" Mattresses

Check out these cool “all wool” mattresses that could help you. They are pure, natural and have the following features which makes my brain hungry… I wonder if it’s “really” flame resistant…

Wool bedding provides the optimal micro-climate by harmonizing with your body’s temperature and humidity changes. Wool is mildew and dust-mite resistant. Wool fibers are naturally more resilient and springy than other natural fibers. Wool is flame resistant and doesn’t require additional flame retardants.
